Welcome to another episode of the continuing series of film, TV and video game composer interviews on the Cinematic Sound Radio Network. Simon TaufiQue was born in London, UK. He is a producer and composer for short films. documentaries and features, and also a former film festival program director (SAIFF). Taufique also created the world's first online Helpdesk as the founder of the prize-winning tech startup, greenButton.com. The composer recently produced and scored additional music for IMPERIUM starring Daniel Radcliffe and Toni Collette. He also co-produced and scored SHE'S LOST CONTROL, nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards and winner of the C.I.C.A.E Forum prize at the 2014 Berlin Film Festival. The film had its US premiere at SXSW before screening at New Directors/New Films. Prior to that, Simon worked with several prominent directors, including M.
