Mike miraculously survived thanks to the quick thinking of others immediately after the incident.  There weren't any lonely nights: Prayer, family, friends and the support from law enforcement gave the Flamions comfort. Gary Sinise Foundation: St. Louis businessman Jim Shubert is on the Board of Directors at the Gary Sinise Foundation. After Jim's wife learned of the incident, he jumped at the chance to help the Flamions. In 2017, the Gary Sinise Foundation built the Flamions a state-of-the-art smart home that provides Mike some indepen
