Dr. Dawn Nickel is the visionary behind the SHE RECOVERS movement and a thought leader in the women’s recovery community.  Her personal recovery journey began in 1987 when she entered treatment for a substance use disorder, trauma from spousal abuse, and anxiety. Today, Dawn also identifies as being in recovery from cancer, codependency, grief, and workaholism.
