Pat McCarthy is the Creator/ Instructor of The Street Crimes Program. He is also the author of “Chicago Street Cop: Amazing True Stories from the Mean Streets of Chicago and Beyond”. Pat is a nationally recognized expert in many areas of police work. He is able to blend his many unique experiences as a Patrol Officer, Gang Investigator, Undercover Cop, S.W.A.T. Team Member, and Special Investigator with the FBI on three separate Federal Task Forces. Mr. McCarthy spent six years with the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserve. Mr. McCarthy has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Lewis University. McCarthy spent 25 years in very aggressive units as a member of the Chicago Police Department. He earned 14 Special Department Commendations and over 100 honorable mentions and letters of appreciation from the Director of the FBI and other Federal Agencies.
