Though there are many stories of love and many stories of sacrifice in the Bible, the two only truly come together for the first time at Calvary where Christ in love provided the ultimate sacrifice for sin. Why? So that we could be sure of being in heaven with Him. The Bible speaks of only two destinations. Those who trust Christ are saved and enter heaven through His blood, but those who refuse to receive God's forgiveness must be banished from the holy presence of God forever.
