Professionally, Barb’s an award-winning professor of engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan and the Ramón y Cajal Distinguished Scholar of Global Digital Learning at McMaster University. Her research focuses on bioengineering with an emphasis on neuroscience and cognitive psychology.
