This week on ... For the People... law in plain language with Debra D. Rainey, Esq. Stolen Black Vocies.  Jim Crow's resurgence by mass incarceration!   How is the deprivation of basic civil and human rights suffered by folks returning to our society after jail, different than the deprivations of basic rights under Jim Crow laws, and does the mass incarceration of minorities occur by choice or by force, or both? Carter, MSW, PA LSW as we tackled questions and issues surrounding the parallels between today’s mass incarceration of minorities and Jim Crow of old.  We had a caller give his perspective on why there are so many minorities in the prison system.
