I've talked a little bit on the show about the growing/exloding clown scene in LA and how it's becoming a 4th genre of comedy after stand-up, sketch, and improv. It's way different than the type of clowning you're familiar with (see the episode with Gilly the Clown for that btw). This type of clowning (or just "Clown") is a performance that thrives in chaos and failure and it's actually still figuring itself out.  Well Chad Damiani is one of the pioneers of that scene and one of the main people helping to define it. He also does a stand-up act with characters that fucking kill me. And he worked for WCW during the Monday Night Wars, so I definitely asked about that too. Art Cullen is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and editor of The Storm Lake Times. It's a family-run paper in small town Iowa. There's a great documentary called Storm Lake(2021) about the Cullens and the paper that I highly recommend. He's kinda become THE go-to expert on the Iowa Caucuses, and a recent op-ed about the Caucuses in the New York Timesprompted me to finally reach out and ask him to be on the show. This guy is a hero to many Iowans and I hope you enjoy it. This was also conducted at 7am Los Angeles time, so it's also an example of me talking to a person exponentially smarter than me, while I'm also awake before I want to be. 

Roger Gastman is an art dealer, curator, filmmaker, publisher and historian of graffiti and street art. He’s THE fucking guy. He’s worked closely with people like Shepard Fairey and Banksy. And a ton of other great artists. He was a consulting producer on Exit Through The Gift Shop, which is one of my favorite documentaries. In 2018 he curated Beyond The Streets in Los Angeles that kinda led to me becoming obsessed with his art shows. And in 2022, he opened a permanent gallery in LA.  Video on www.patreon.com/brido

I recently shot a movie. And one of the stars was Gil Adams.   He’s been on The Bernie Mac Show, Scrubs, Glee, Modern Family, iCarly, Corden, the Eric Andre Show, and as Curt Savage on The Morning Show.  I liked him immediately. But then I found out, he’s also a working clown. As Gilly the Clown, he’s performed at thousands of parties. He’s also working on a documentary called American Clown.
