Matchday 3 in the Turkish Süper Lig is done and dusted and the Football à la Turca gang is back with a brand new addition to the team! Yakup Marufoglu joins Burak Sezgin, Kaan Bayazit and Özer Dindjer to provide the show with a Trabzonspor representative! Welcome back to Football á Turca with the conclusion of the 2018-2019 Turkish Süper Lig campaign, with the Championship already decided we only had third place left to be decided between Besiktas and Trabzonspor, but more importantly Göztepe, Bursaspor and Erzurum had to determine among eachother which two teams would join Akhisar in the second tier of Turkish football next season.  This week Kaan Bayazit (@Razzerian) was joined once again by Umut Naderi (@Eidolast), Burak Sezgin (@Burakiosaurus) and the returning King Özer Dindjer (@Ataqoz).

Breaking news update on the situation at Ankaragücü, concerning a developing story related to the club's financial issues with unpaid wages. Two players have terminated their contracts while former player Michael Klukowski has notified the club through his lawyer that he has gone to FIFA regarding his owed wages. There is even talk of a six point deduction for next season.
