This sermon is about Pontius Pilate and what he did in regard to Jesus.  But, "What will I do with Jesus today?"  That's the question.  This is a powerful sermon and was preached in 1978.

The Scripture is Luke 18:9-14. This sermon is about the Pharisees and how they were such great law keepers and good people, but when it came to the Lord Jesus Christ, they couldn't accept the Son of God, standing right before their eyes.  He didn't act the way they thought he should and he loved sinners.  They hated him and plotted to kill him.  This sermon was preached in 1978.

This sermon was preached in 1979 on Palm Sunday.  When he talks about the electronic church, he’s not talking about shut-ins, the elderly and those who are not able to go to church any more. He also talks about “God loves the sinner more than He does the righteous."

This is a wonderful sermon about how to live in the coming new year, where life can be found regardless of our circumstances. It was preached in 1980 but sounds like it could have been preached today! There is a couple minutes of poor sound that wasn’t correctable.

It's the beginning of a new Decade. What do you have in your hand? God has provided you with everything you need for “this” day, not tomorrow until tomorrow comes. You have what you need today. Use it. Be confident and never never stop worshiping. You stop worshiping God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and you stop growing. This sermon was preached January 6, 1980.

If the church could talk, what would be its New Year's Resolution?  Would it want us to love the Lord more, pray more, attend church more, accept one another and love one another more?  This sermon was preached December 30, 1979 and is relevant today.
