(2019) We all have those people in our life we really get excited about seeing.  Sometimes it's a family member, sometimes it's a friend, and sometimes its both! On today's show, we meet a group of teenage girls who have been life-long friends.  And while its true some sadness brought them closer together, the ladies of the Pink Bandanas Guild have turned that sadness into something really positive.  Then, we explore a new program by the non-profit Treehouse that's going to help equip a special group of kids with skills to become productive adults.  We also get a chance to meet a couple who pretty much say its the "simple things" that make relationships last.  After all, they should know, after just celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary! (2019) Inspiring people to be kind to one another is harder work than you might think, especially when you're 14 years old.  On this week's show, we meet Carlie Steele.  She's a teenager on a mission, and from her headquarters in tiny Amity, Oregon, she's created a movement that's literally helped THOUSANDS of people!  She calls it "Carlie's Kindness Campaign," and chances are, it may soon visit a school near you. For his entire career, he shared joy and positivity with millions of kids around the world via television.  On what would have been his 91st birthday, we enjoy the words of Fred Rogers, and find out more about his music and mission to remind each of us each day that its okay to be yourself, and that you are perfect just the way you are. Our brand new, 20 minute podcast full of positivity and good news is here, and on our first show takes us to the sandy beaches of Kauai.  It's here on the island we discover the true meaning of the "Aloha Spirit" with Kauai's coolest elected leader, Mayor Derek Kawakami. Some people do their best thinking on the back of a horse.  On this episode, we discover that's where some people do their best healing as well.  We visit Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Redmond, Washington, to hear the stories of how a group of volunteers put a little joy in the saddle, and change lives for our neighbors with physical and mental barriers.
