Summoner's Call: A Fire Emblem Heroes Podcast

We conclude 2020 with a look at the new Special Winter Heroes, hailing from both Fodlan and Tellius. After questioning the validity of using an oversized candy cane as a weapon, we move into the Outrealm Gate to discuss the penultimate chapter for Lyn's Route in Blazing Blade.

A light week for this episode as we discuss the new Resplendent Hero coming later this month, then hop back in for not one but two chapters of Blazing Blade for Game Club. We also share our thoughts on dipping our toes into Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. Oh, and we spend some time with Utter Confusion…

Book V has arrived and we were so exited we delayed the recording to chat about it! Reginn and "more" join Fire Emblem Heroes, bringing more from the world of Sacred Stones. We also go over the Book V celebrations, Aether Raid changes, and Summoning Screen improvements detailed in the new FEH Channel. Finally, we close out the show with the Outrealm Gate, where we've both received our Fire Emblem 30th Anniversary Collectors Editions that include a bunch of goodies including a localized download of Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.

Since we have our special State of FEH episode this week in support of Extra Life, we won't have a normal Summoner's Call this week. But that didn't stop us from taking the time to discuss the new Mythic Heroes with the Two Lords Without Swords cast! After a few slower weeks we come back with quite a bit to talk about as Book IV comes to a close with a new Binding Blade banner. We also go over the Black Friday “Celebration” and hop back into Blazing Blade for Chapter 7.

We return this week with a light show, where we go over Ryan’s first impressions of the new mode Pawns of Loki. The new Heroes + Forging Bonds Revival for January has been confirmed, plus the next Resplendent Hero appears to be a bit of a "What If" faux pas. We discuss the next chapter of Game Club as we continue the Lyn route of Blazing Blade.

To match the Pirates Special Banner, we now have a Ninja Special Banner! (Pirates vs Ninja voting gauntlet when?) This new special banner was featured on the latest FEH Channel, that also highlighted the current Version Update and an upcoming event called Auto Chess... I MEAN Pawns of Loki. That new event starts on November 11th. We continue our Game Club fun in Blazing Blade, then provide more details on our upcoming A Very Fire Emblem Extra Life.

This week we return with the new Legendary Hero to discuss as well as the next chapter of Blazing Blade for Game Club. We also have a last minute game update preview to go over with the finale of Book IV being announced.

A shorter show this week, and a bit early due to life, but we are back to give a brief overview of the Church units coming to FEH as well as Chapter 2 of Lyn’s Story. Join us next week for more details on the new heroes.

This week things get spooky, and educational, as we discuss the new batch of Harvest (pronounced Halloween) units added to the game. We also discuss the new resplendent hero announced and start into Fire Emblem, now known as Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade.

This week we discuss the new mythic hero Plumeria, as well as the next version update. Next week we start Blazing Blade, and don’t forget Extra Life is running so support the kids and vote for what route of Three Houses we do first in 2021.

We return to Tellius this week with the new banner while also welcoming a new mode that… wait is it over already? We also finish out Cindered Shadows with the final two chapters and we even got a vote for Three Houses next year, join us to find out who took an early lead.

The swift approach of Fall once again brings with it the soft music of a ball, this time from the world of Jugdral, as we get a new Dancer banner from Geneaology of the Holy War. We discuss the new banner as well as the next resplendent hero and the new revival banner Twitter poll. What's this? No Game Club this week? Sorry folks, some scheduling has caused us to push the conclusion of Cindered Shadows to next week. Stay tuned!

We return after a week off to a ton of… well not much. We did get the official announcement for the update as well as the new Legendary Hero that everyone has been waiting for with minimal interest (well I am sure there have been some people waiting for Corrin, they just are not on the podcast).
