Summoner's Call: A Fire Emblem Heroes Podcast

This week we discuss the new Book VI banner as well as the next Resplendent Hero we are getting for Christmas. We discuss our thoughts on Chapter 1 of the new book and while we didn’t get more than the silhouettes for the Christmas Banner by the time we recorded, we do dip a bit into Tokyo Mirage Sessions for a tease of what may be if we raise enough through Extra Life.

Last week ended with a bang as we got the Book VI FEH Channel last night and with it a whole bunch of details on Book VI and Version Update 6.0.0 which launched shortly after the FEH Channel did. We cover everything announced in the video including a brief overview of the new heroes and new modes, and even a short glimpse at one of the weirder FEH videos of last week. We close out the show with a tease of a bonus Game Club preview in relation to our Extra Life campaign.

We return a day late to discuss the new Mythic and Legendary Banner that was sprung on us, as well as our next round of Fire Emblem Warriors in Game Club. We also discuss that monologue we received from the Legendary Hero on the banner to close out Book V.

We return with the new Ascended Laegjarn banner and a bunch of new Tellius units with her. We also discuss the close of Book V and the penultimate chapter of the Ice and Flame Tempest Trial story, as well as speculate on how we will get future Ascended Heroes. Game Club returns next week and don’t forget, donating to Ryan on Extra Life will get you a say in where we go next in Game Club.

While our normal recording schedule is just shy of brand new heroes arriving in the game, we did want to get out a short mini episode detailing the upcoming calendar of events and the next resplendent hero. And because the new trailer dropped just in time, we preview the upcoming new heroes which will feature the next Ascended Hero, Laegjarn: Flame Ascendant.

This week we have a new Special Heroes Banner and TT bringing back the Ninja theme from last November. It is another grab bag of FE games with a slight weight on the Fates side. We also discuss what to expect from the next round of Warriors Game Club Special Discussion in a couple weeks.

After a busy week, we return with a new Legendary Hero to discuss. We also quickly go over the new version update coming soon and the next resplendent hero that got announced. Then we dive into the first section of Fire Emblem Warriors, discussing the first 5 chapters which involve meeting and working with characters from Awakening.

We delayed to see the New Heroes banner and boy was that wise as we got way more than we expected. We discuss that new banner and the new type of hero it added, including the confusing way that hero works. We also go over everything that came with the new Hero type including the new currency and the Wolfguard and mercenary joining in on the banner and surrounding event.

This week we get the new Halloween, I mean Harvest Festival, banner and FEH returns to the dragon well again. We also discuss a hopeful new hero that showed up in the TT and the latest Resplendent hero that was announced.

This week we discuss the new OC Mythic unit as well info on the next update and Resplendent Hero. We also announce what we will be doing for Game Club for the rest of the year and have a quick overview of the game and how we are planning to cover it.

Enter Abyss this week with the warm friendly new OC unit, Múspell (go along with it so he doesn’t burn me to death) and the Ashen Wolves. We also check in on what we will be looking at for the rest of the year in Game Club as well. Be sure to vote in our poll, as we'll be closing it September 30th!

This week we return to Jugdral for the Day of Twelve Festival with a bunch of second gen characters and Lewyn. We also cover the next Resplendent Hero, and check in on the poll for the next revival banner. Apologies to those that tried to vote in our 2021 Game Club poll from last week, seems the website we used is no longer functioning. We've set up a new poll to help us decide on a Special Discussions version of the segment for the remainder of 2021.

After a week off we return to discuss the latest Legendary hero, Micaiah: Radiant Queen and all the heroes joining her on the Legendary Banner. We also go over the next Resplendent Hero and Version Update 5.9. Next week we will detail the new Special Heroes, but we did give a brief overview of who is on the Scions of Twelve banner. Moving over to the Outrealm Gate, we conclude our 9 month adventure with Three Houses by discussing the ending to Verdant Wind, the Claude route of the game. As for the future of Game Club, we have a Poll up and running to help us decide on a Special Discussions version of the segment for the remainder of 2021. We have a lighter show this week as we discuss the summons on the Brave banner and the corresponding Grand Hero Battle. We also cover the penultimate chapter of Verdant Wind in Game Club, before discussing what comes next for Game Club. No episode next week, but we shall return in September with the conclusion to our first Three Houses Game club!

This week we have the Brave Heroes FEH Channel to discuss, though since we recorded before the banner released we do not have any hands on time with the new Heroes. There's a new Resplendent Hero on the horizon. We also cover the second chapter of the ongoing Ice and Flame Tempest Trials saga, as well as the new event before heading over to Game Club to (finally) discuss Chapters 19 and 20 of Verdant Wind.

Avast! A FEH Channel washed ashore mere hours after we recorded our last episode, so we go over the news from it this episode. We also return to the Pirate Festival with the special heroes for this month. With all the stuff from the FEH Channel to discuss (and life and other reasons) we are once again postponing Game Club for another week.

This week we return after a hectic couple of weeks to cover the latest news, from Charlotte finally smashing her way out of the Special only prison she has been locked in since Year 1 (just don’t let any nobles know she broke out herself) to a God joining the normal pool. We also discuss the new perks for staying subbed to FEH pass (as well as Raven’s glow up) and the ending of the last Tempest Trial that is going exactly where it seemed to be going based on its title. We finish off with Game Club discussing the next chapter of Verdant Wind before veering off into speculation of if there could ever be a direct sequel to the Two Year Old Three Houses.

Wouldn't be a Fire Emblem Heroes summer without another batch of Summer Special Heroes! We discuss the original content special heroes, who are joined by Mystery of the Emblem characters. There's a new Resplendent Hero on the way, and she's taking inspiration from Book V. Closing up the FEH portion of the show, Intelligent Systems is bringing us back to Book II with the Ice & Flame story event, that includes some cute and cringy videos. We close the show in the Outrealm Gate, looking at our remaining Paralogues available in the Part 2 play through of the Claude route in Three Houses.

Byleth returns as a Legendary Hero this week and we discuss that as well as the version update. We also cover the next Chapter of Game Club before next week we slip off to do a few Paralogues. Sadly while we did get the Silhouettes for the next set of summer Heroes we did not get… wait what? It just dropped?!?!?!? I mean we also discuss the trailer for the next batch of Summer Heroes that launch in a couple days.
