Summoner's Call: A Fire Emblem Heroes Podcast

We return to discuss the past three weeks (sorry life delayed us a week) including the Radiant Dawn banner and the newest Legendary Hero. Oh, and we welcome Lyn as the next Resplendent Hero. We also go over the new Version Update and while we are delaying the Engage spoiler chat for next episode we did cover some other news related to Engage that came out this week.

Ryan and Eddie return and are ready to celebrate the Day of Devotion with a new set of Special Heroes from Fire Emblem Fates. We also preview the next Resplendent Hero and get caught up in the details for the A Hero Rises results. Moving into the Outrealm Gate, Fire Emblem will receive more Switch love when Fire Emblem for the GameBoy Advance is added to the Nintendo Switch Online collection later this year. Finally, we offer our current status on Fire Emblem Engage, and go over the confirmed details of the Expansion Pass revealed in the latest Nintendo Direct.

A late episode this week as we waited for the FEH Channel so we could cover the 6th Anniversary. We also cover the new Engage banner and the most recent Dual Mythic banner. We close out the show with a tiny check in on our Engage progress as well. Happy summoning!

As promised, Eddie and Ryan spent the weekend with Fire Emblem Engage and are ready to share their early thoughts on the game. We keep things spoiler free, outside of what has been shown in the basic marketing. Also, Eddie picked up the DLC and let's us know how that works as well! This week we return to discuss the January Special Heroes and tease the just announced Engage Heroes. We also discuss some of the stuff coming for Engage and the new Resplendent Hero coming. We return after a hectic December to cover the Christmas and New Years banners as well as the newest Legendary unit from Three Hopes. We also discuss some of the tidbits for Fire Emblem Engage that have come out in the past month while giving an update on what to expect going forward.

We had a bit of a scheduling mishap this week, so we had to bump our normal episode to next week. Which means we have another mini to discuss the new heroes introduced with Book VII! We'll be back next episode to discuss the latest holiday special heroes, and all the fun new trailers for Fire Emblem Engage.

While we had to bump our regular show a week, we wanted to cover some of the content rolling out of FEH before we next record. On this Summoner's Call Mini Ryan previews the next Resplendent Hero and goes over the latest Book Ending Banner with Legendary Veronica and Mythic Embla. Plus A Hero Rises returns with a focus on Fire Emblem Engage!

This week we return to discuss the new Rearmed Hero banner as well as a bunch of Fire Emblem Engage trailers from the past few weeks. We also conclude our Tokyo Mirage Sessions special discussions by covering what we have seen of the story and our thoughts on it.

This week we return to cover the most recent Mythic Hero as well as the new Special Ninja Heroes that dropped recently. We also go over the recent update version and check in on resplendent heroes as well as the smoking remnants of Twitter that are still managing to give us information for Fire Emblem Engage.

This week we have a new Ascended Hero and joining her is yet another Rearmed Hero coming from Awakening which happens to be the focus of this new banner. We also cover the recent Twitter drops for Fire Emblem Engage as well as starting our two part overview of Tokyo Mirage Session #FE.

After a hectic few weeks we return to cover Legendary Ninian and the Dragon focused Halloween, I mean Harvest, banner. There are also two Resplendent Heroes to chat about. We also briefly cover the other FE news including the orb changes and Engage tidbits. And don’t miss our usual “in depth” review of the outfits and at least some of their inspirations.

Quite a busy week as we come to you with not one but two surprise announcements in the world of Fire Emblem. We started the week off with the Fire Emblem Engage announcement, which we cover in the Outrealm Gate. But more related to this podcast, we got a surprise FEH Channel to introduce a new type of Hero, the Rearmed Hero and the first batch of Three Hopes units coming to FEH. Buckle up for a hefty episode as we cover summoning on two banners on top of everything that got announced this week.

This week we have a good bit to cover as a new Legendary Hero joins us from Genealogy of the Holy War and we have some details on the next batch of Special Heroes to honour the 4 star unit on the banner… Normally we wait to cover banners until they are in game but since we are still running on a two week schedule we figured we would cover the new banner now. Oh, and Version Update 6.9 is now available! Game Club is still in between as we need to dig into Tokyo Mirage Sessions a bit more to figure out how we will cover it, more on that soon!

After a bit of a delay, we're back in the Summoner's chair to discuss the latest banners in Fire Emblem Heroes, including a new Thief Festival Special Heroes banner and the long awaiting Choose Your Legend 6 banner. We also preview the next Resplendent Hero! Moving over to the Outrealm Gate, we wrap up our Fire Emblem Awakening Game Club, then tease what's next for our Special Discussions Game Club focused on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. This week we come back to discuss the newest Mythic unit as Askr joins the game. There hasn’t been much else as we are due a new FEH Channel soon... OH and there it is, after we finish recording. Good thing it wasn't after we wrapped editing! Enjoy a quick summary of the August 1st FEH Channel from Ryan, with full Special Heroes coverage next episode. We do pass over Three Hopes as Eddie has finished one route and dove headfirst into a second one. We also continue our Awakening Game Club in our penultimate discussion even if it is less than originally planned.

This week is a hefty episode as we have not one but two new banners to cover as we go over the Nifl Summer banner and the Ascended Celica banner. We also discuss some news about the European version of Fates and the 3DS eShop before a quick check-up on Three Hopes (spoilers, no real update other than neither of us has finished). Finally, we close out the show with Game Club and Awakening Paralogues.

This week Three Hopes shortens Game Club and FEH’s wildest dreams come true as Xander becomes a Legendary Hero. We also discuss the new update coming and a new TT series based on Eir and Book III, as well as the Chibi Playhouse that introduced it. While we do continue towards the end of Awakening, the deep dive into Three Hopes that both of us have been doing led to us only doing two chapters this week, but we do still have stuff to discuss from those chapters.

Back after Ryan covered the Book VI Midpoint banner in a mini to cover the new batch of Three Houses Summer units along with their Radiant Dawn allies. We also discuss the stealth demo for Three Hopes and do a small spoiler discussion up to the point where you choose a house. Then we round out the episode with Awakening as we get closer and closer to finishing the game.

While we did say we were moving to an every other week schedule for the summer, we will be releasing Mini’s where necessary. And this is one of those weeks! With Summer Heroes just around the corner, and the Book VI Midpoint New Heroes to discuss, we wanted to give them their due in this Mini. Plus there’s a new Resplendent Hero on the horizon!
