I would like to say that I feel for anyone impacted by the coronavirus in any capacity, along with the baseball community, where many players have worked so hard and put so much time in, just to see it all put on hold. Resilient. That would be the best word to describe T.J. Bruce. After his playing career ended, he decided he wanted to get into coaching. When he first started coaching junior college baseball he was making 5k while supporting his wife who was still in school. He was passed over three times while he was a volunteer assistant at Long Beach State for the paid position. He never gave up. After he became the head coach at the University of Nevada, he had a player pass away, and then two weeks later, his dad passed away. He held it all together and became a stronger man. He did all of this while becoming known as one of the best coll

Josh Band, wanted to make some money on the side. He thought of different ideas and being that he was still playing and couldn’t physically be some place to work, he decided to start a monthly membership box geared towards baseball supplies. Through word of mouth and social media, Josh was able to get thousands of people to sign up for his membership box, Plate Crate. This is the journey of an entrepreneur who used his baseball platform to make his living online. If you are interested in sponsoring an episode please email me @jonesbaseballtraining@gmail.com.
