September 2017, Jocelyn Bellows made the decision to leave an abusive marriage. At the time, her family and her had moved across the country and she was not working. The one thing that she was most certain of was this decision to leave was an absolute for herself and her child. The day she proclaimed that she was leaving and in the months to come, she began a journey of self-discovery. She invested in herself: learning and expanding through books, conversations, coaching and training. The first book project entitled "I Am A Black Woman",  includes stories of 13 women whose life experience takes them from tragedy to triumph. The second book entitled, "I Am a Black Woman - Next Level" will take the reader little higher, offering the tools needed to overcome life's battles. Jeremy grew up in Buffalo, NY and spent his childhood and teenage years there. He graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a BA in History and was commissioned an officer in the US Army upon completion of ROTC. Through the years Jeremy has served in the National Guard, Army Reserves including one deployment to Iraq.
