Grace is the key to Christianity that makes it different from all other religions. We can't earn or ever deserve the love of God and the salvation that Jesus brings, but it is given to us nonetheless. In His teaching on bread, Jesus says that He is the true bread and the main ingredient is grace!

Evangelist Rick Lairsey brings a special message to Crosswind out of 2 Timothy 1:6. Are you ready to stir up the gift of God within you?

Bread is one of the few foods that is universal to almost all cultures around the world. After multiplying the bread and fish, Jesus tells his followers that He is the true bread and anyone who eats of Him will never hunger again. What was Jesus trying to reveal about Himself in this message about bread?

Jesus often found himself frustrated with the religious leaders in His time. In John 5 Jesus calls them out on their understanding of the truth in Scripture. The religious leaders disregarded the truth about Jesus because they didn't like him. They refused to see the Scripture for what it really was. So what exactly is the truth of the Bible?

We all have this innate desire to have things be fair and right. When you turn on the news or read stories about things going on in the world it becomes immediately clear that there is a shortage of justice. So, what does Jesus say true justice is all about?

A lot of times, our faith is a paradox. Jesus tells us that the way to greatness is to serve, the way to happiness is to make others happy, the way to find your life is to lose it, and the list goes on! That's how God's system works. Jesus called it the Kingdom of God. Up is down, and down is up!

This Missions Sunday we are looking at what it means to be on mission as Jesus mandates in Matthew 9 and 10. We will also hear from and celebrate the missions programs and missionaries that Crosswind Church supports.

When you think of the word "Harvest", what comes to mind? We think of celebration, feasting, autumn, and enjoying the fruits of labor. The truth is that harvesting crops is a lot of work. In fact, it's hard work. Jesus' work here on earth was the harvesting of souls and he passed this work on to His disciples. As followers of Jesus today, harvesting is our job, so what does it look like?

What does real worship look like? As human beings, we are wired for worship, but often times we worship the the wrong people and/or things. What we must come to realize is that we are designed to know who God is and connect with Him. Worship allows us to truly connect to God and the truest version of ourselves.

On this Mother's Day we are blessed to hear a word from the mother of Crosswind Church, Mrs. Harriett Cushing. She and her husband Paul started our church in 1968.

Did you know your soul can be thirsty? We may not use the language of thirst, but down in our hearts, we all long to fulfill certain needs and desires. Many times we try and quench this thirst with activities, careers, relationships, and possessions that in the end leave us no more satisfied than when we began. In His conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus shows us where we can find living water so that we will never thirst again.

A witness is someone who has seen or heard something first-hand. They alone are the ones who have the truest knowledge of an event simply because they were there. In John's Gospel, Jesus is painted as the perfect witness because He is the one who holds true knowledge about God and the mystery of life.

At some point in our lives, we all struggle with envy. It's hard not to look at other people's possessions, success, status, etc. and not be jealous. What Jesus shows in his conversation with John's disciples is that envy is an issue of the heart and we must reorient how we look at the world.

This Easter we are bringing you a unique presentation centered around the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo. These artifacts are commonly referred to as the burial linens of Jesus. In this special Easter message we look at the scripture, facts, science, and studies surrounding these linens. What they reveal to us is a powerful depiction of death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. This is truly something you need to see to believe!

In the final part of this series we are looking at Jesus' command to love God with all of our strength. Our bodies are the part of us that makes internal beliefs actionable in the real world. It's not just about believing something internally, but allowing that belief to turn into a behavior.

Usually, the term "brainwashing" would be a bad thing. Get up and run the other way! The truth is, however, as Christians we need a good old fashion brainwashing. Often we say we love God with our Hearts, but we question Him with our minds. There is a war going on inside of our heads pulling us to focus on ourselves, culture, and the lies of the enemy.

The soul is one of the things that sets human beings apart from the rest of the created order. It is the thing that connects us to God in a special way. Many times the word soul is synonymous with spirit. What's interesting is that our soul's are thirsty, and what we choose to quench that thirst will ultimately determine the condition of our spirit.

“I Love You” is one of the most basic, most life-giving sounds to the human heart. As human beings, we were created to love. Though our hearts were made for love, however, we seem to be incapable of doing it right.
