On EP289 we recapped an exciting game in Edmonton. Shared our thoughts on the announced cap increases and looked ahead to the Four Nations Faceoff.

We're back for a fresh calendar year! We eased in slowly without a beer or an agenda. We touched on the halfway effects with the new playing style.  What's up with Morgan and a light discussion on the expiring Marner contract

EP286 is our 2024 Christmas special as well as our announcement of our Beers of the Year. We did some Light Housekeeping on some Leafs issues like the Matthews Injury, style of play and the goaltending carousel.   Then we got down to our beer of the Year.  Sean's pick was the Nordique IPA from Ile Sauvage Brewing Company in Victoria. EP285 Apparently the Leafs are doing unsustainable things. We discussed that, the goaltending heater and a few of their past results.   Our beer was a Coconut Mocha Porter from Fuggles and Warlock. 

Over the past two weeks we got to observe some organizational depth. On EP284 we commented on and rated some of the recent fill ins.  We also talked about the 4 Nations Show Down as well as some potential C trade targets.    Thanks to The Liquor Planet for a great IPA from one of our all time favorites, Category 12 Brewing in Victoria. 

Team Positive showed up for EP283  We broke down the Leafs effort vs Vegas amid all kinds of injuries. We talked about the mysterious Matthews Injury and gushed over an  IPA from ILE Savage Brewing Company courtesy our friends  at the Liquor Planet

On EP282 we recapped a week that included a couple gut check OT wins and a gutless performance against Ottawa.    We both enjoyed a Raspberry Sour from Bones Brewing from our friends at The Liquor Planet

On EP281 we talked about the Leafs success without Matthews, could JT sneak onto team Canada for Four Nations and a full Easton Cowan scouting report from Sean's attendance at the London Knights game. We also got into an unplanned conversation about the NCAA decision to allow CHL players to play. 

EP280 was a look back on a week where one Swede was traded and one in battling his coach for more Ice time. We were all over the map on this one but we ploughed a lot of ground.   We both loved the Kelp Stout from Tofino Brewing Company courtesy Wyatt at The Liquor Planet

On EP279 we looked back on a week of highs and lows. Nice wins vs Tampa and LA mixed in with a couple bad loses to Columbus and St Louis.  We had a heated debate on the character of the core 4 as it translates to deep playoff run. More angst about the power play and our first Hot Mic segment of the season.    Liquor planet hooked us up with a Hazy IPA from Shaketown Brewing in North Vancouver

EP278 is our first pre game set up, post game reaction pod of the season. We focused on the PP (ouch) and the Tanev Reilly pairing.    We also enjoyed a great Vanishing Point Pale Ale from Ghostfish Brewing Company in Seattle courtesy The Liquor Planet

EP277 is our 2024-2025 Season Preview. We had a birth announcement! The Beer segment is back! We dissected the lines. Made some predictions Broke down the Atlantic division And lots more Thanks to Wyatt at The Liquor Planet for helping get some beer to Sean in London

On EP276 we shared our training camp thoughts and teased some things to come on the Pod this upcoming season 

On EP275 we went through the Leafs 2024-2025 schedule month  by month. We highlighted games of interest and rated each months quality of Saturday Night content. 

On EP274 we talked about the handing over of the Leafs Captaincy to Auston Matthews. Last year we were team Chaos. Now the boat has a new Captain.

On EP273 Sean turned it over to Trevor and it turned into Trevor, his two boys, Producer Reg, Art Director Des and brother Troy making a return to the Pod.   We sat on the deck on a beautiful August night with a few beverages and nothing but time.  It was the longest Pod in our history. Following introductions and beer talk, we dug into Leaf talk at about the 13:00 minute mark. Sit back and enjoy. 

On EP272 we shared our thoughts on the Leafs free agent signings. We touched on the Nic Robertson trade request and the ongoing Marner uncertainty.

On EP271 we teed up a big weekend including the draft and Free Agency. Trevor talked about his sports watching experiences in Europe and Wyatt from The Liquor Planet provided us with a Speedspitter Watermelon Wit from Parallell 49

On EP270 we reached deep into the bottom of the content bag and talked a little, Keefe comments, Marner contract, talked about the Oilers run and whether we should hate watch or enjoy it.
