Listen in as we educate ourselves on all the impacts the proposed $90 million police training facility has on the Weelaunee Forest and communities across Atlanta… Cop City aims to militarize the Atlanta Police Department while ignoring the large environmental issues the facility will create. Despite concerns from the affected communities, the development pushes on, raising further conversations about the criminalization and suppression of the Stop Cop City Movement, the alignment of political leaders, and the role that large corporations play in all this. We talk to community organizers and activists like Jacqueline Echols of the South River Watershed Alliance, Sam Beard of Block Cop City Coalition, and Aja Arnold of Mainline Magazine!
