We're back for episode 121! And this week Mitch is decidedly less drunk, for better or worse. We talk a little bit about why episode 120 was late, and a little bit about Mitch and Matt's camping trip to Teewah beach a couple of weekends back. We then break into a bit of news, and Joseph starts us off with news about the new Land Rover Defender's pricing in Australia. Mitch then has a bit of rumour news from Volkswagen, in that they might be looking to offload Lamborghini to further streamline their model range and to focus on (boring) economy cars... Then Joseph has a bullshit hot take about people in the UAE giving away supercars to people who compliment their supercar. Joseph then has a bit of news about the Alpina B3 Touring coming to Australia, and then we talk a bit about Bathurst and the debacle that unfolded, and then Joseph goes onto to talk about Renault being under investigation in Formula 1 regarding their alleged rule-breaking with ABS, and Matt talks about the 2021 rule changes to Formula 1. Joseph then talks about how since electric cars are coming thick and fast, which will be faster than basically any internal combustion engine available per price bracket, you shouldn't necessarily buy a supercar by performance, but by how it makes you feel. We're back for episode 118! This week, it's just Mitch, Joseph and Joel as Matt's off at a bucks. Mitch kicks off the news with talking about a chap in America ordering a Tesla, then 3 weeks later received a Tesla's front fender in the mail. Joseph and Joel then talk about a recent car meet they went to, and the worrying trend of the return of underglow, and a general increase in shitty mods. Joseph then talks about the 3 OG's from local automotive publication CarAdvice handing in their resignation letters, and moving on from CarAdvice. Mitch then talks about the rumours surrounding the next generation GT86 / BRZ, which will probably have the FA24 for the powerplant, might use a shared platform with Mazda, and will handle better than the Mk5 Supra. Joseph has a bit of news about the Mitsubishi ASX getting a Triton facelift and a 2.4L engine option, we then talk about CVT's for a bit. Mitch then talks about the Tesla Vs. Porsche Nurburgring war. We're back for episode 112! And this week we start off talking about Joseph's bits. For a change, Joel kicks off proceedings with talking about his trip to Archerfield for the drifting. Joseph then talks about his recent track days out at Morgan Park Raceway out at Warwick, and then we talk about track days in general. Mitch has a bit of news about Lamborghini and their talks with the heads of the Volkswagen group regarding the future of their V12 engine, where Volkswagen is more keen on a twin-turbo V8, then Mitch goes on to talk about the new improvements to his Hilux, namely wheels and tyres and cup holders! Tim starts us off this week with talking about his car history, starting with a Mk4 Volkswagen Golf which had all sorts of gearbox issues.
