Rapid Recharge // How’s Your Customer Service?
13/09/2017 Duration: 34minEpisode 227. Aired September, 13, 2017. This week I am going to talk to you about Customer Service and how you treat your clients. I am going to share an epiphany I had last week in regards how I treat my clients and what I can do better. It wasn't a positive. I have been leaving a ton of money and relationships in a place I am not proud of, but didn't realize it until... My analogy this week is about NAPKINS... that is right, Napkins. You are probably thinking I have completely lost it. But hopefully once I explain to you the analogy you will get it and every time you get (or don't get) napkins at the drive through you will think of what you can do to serve your customers better. Alex Lazaris // Mentoring Creatives
06/09/2017 Duration: 01h02minEpisode 226. Aired on September 6, 2017 This week I am excited to have Alex Lazaris on the show. I started out being impressed by Alex’s designs and his creative eye, but the more I learned about him the more inspired I became. He is not only a talented designer, but he is also leading a creative team, and finds time to encourage and mentor other creatives. Alex and I will talk about how what other people told him he couldn’t do, actually fueled him to do the best work possible along with never wanting anyone to feel the same way. Because of some early discouragement, Alex is passionate about being a champion for other designers. Alex likes to push his limits out of the office too, and is a long board skateboard racer. Not only does Alex dives head first into new challenges at work but he has learned to not let fear hold him back. He has learned to embrace change and expect failure. His story will inspire you to push yourself. Which is exactly what I need this week. #facingfear #designthinking #designme

We have a purpose and it is inner-woven into all business, that purpose is to get in the shoes of our client’s customers. Joe and I will talk about how fear sets us back and if we look at fear as a friend with something new to teach us it becomes less scary and more exciting. I will find out where Joe has found courage in different times of his life and how he has learned to harness his strengths for the benefit of his clients and colleagues. Blake Stevenson // Mining Cuteness
31/05/2017 Duration: 01h02minTHE DESIGN RECHARGE SHOW: Blake Stevenson // Mining Cuteness Episode 214 Blake Stevenson is one of my heroes, because everything he makes has some sort of cuteness factor in it. So I say Blake is mining cuteness, he has struck gold and the ore he pulls from his creative mine (I am using a mining analogy) is filled with unstoppable cuteness. . I will ask him if he ever makes anything ugly, or is it still cute? Blake has the ability to reveal emotion while creating the cutest characters. This week I will be interviewing Blake Stevenson, the mastermind behind Jetpacks and Rollerskates. Blake works a full time job, has a family, and still finds time to create for himself and share those creations with us. This episode will dig into how he makes realistic goals, fights against trend band-wagon-riding, and how he found his style. . On this episo
