16/08/2018 Duration: 01h01minLisa Zambetti is joined by Dean Laffan to discuss the book detailing the true story of Marie, a teenager who was charged with lying about being raped and the detectives' journey to arrive at the truth in the hunt for a serial rapist who was terrorising women. In 2008 a young woman reports rape in Seattle. She is not believed and was given a citation for false reporting. She was forced to pay $500 fine and plead guilty to lying about being raped. A series of rapes then began in Colorado. The victims ranged from young women to a grandmother. He was a predatory stalker who spent months researching each victim. He would break in, brutally rape the women, take photos on occasions and then carefully clean everything afterwards.
