#0005: Robin Rodig on shaking things up, growing thicker skin, and simplifying life
23/11/2016 Duration: 01h30minRobin Rodig came into my life around the 10th anniversary of losing our common friend, Pat "Noodle" Newell to cancer. After an hour of the two of us supremely inquisitive ladies tossing questions back and forth, Robin volunteered her beautiful beach house to the charity auction I was pulling together. Her radiant warmth, kindness and humor caught my attention and what she's been up to maintained it. Since we first connected, Robin's been jetsetting around the globe. When Robin Goes To a new destination, she snaps gorgeous photos, shares the stories on her blog (and HuffPo!), and collects traditional fabrics for future art projects. Sure, she must be some free-spirited Californian hippie, right? Au contraire. She's a self-described, perfect attendance awarding-winning rule-follower who worked for the same company for 16 years. So, how on Planet Earth, did Robin make that leap? Hint: It was with the click of a button, but you'll have to tune in to learn more. Selected link love and resources from the episodeCo

#0004: Sally Ekus on career zig-zags, negotiating and literally celebrating mistakes
09/11/2016 Duration: 01h05minShe's also a philanthropist, a reluctant marathoner, and a dear friend. If pressed to describe her in a single phrase, I'd run some June & Johnny Cash lyrics through a Massachusetts accent generator and say she's hottah than a peppah sprout. Maybe it's because she usually has one or more hot sauces in her purse at any given time. Maybe it's her much-loved #SpiceMeSal hashtag. Or it's the radiant warmth and strength she brings to every conversation she has, including this podcast. We zig and we zag covering all sorts of topics like radical career shifts, negotiation for women, the benefits of improv, ninja networking skills, first time author advice, and more. So, do tune in!Selected link love and resources from the episodeConnect with Sally on social media:Twitter | Facebook | Instagram | LinkedInPam Victor and her Through Laughter ProgramThe Happier Valley Comedy Improv SchoolThe Applied Improvisation NetworkLeukemia & Lymphoma SocietyA taco pressCarl Carlton's "She's a Bad Mama Jama" on the Songs to
