Peter Kurten

Stanley Tookie Williams
20/04/2020 Duration: 01h13minTookie Williams was a co-founder of the infamous Crips gang in the 1970s in Southern California. Raised by a single mother, Tookie learned how to be tough in order to survive on the streets. He lived the gang life for a number of years and got heavily involved with drugs. In 1979, Tookie was arrested and ultimately convicted of murdering four people. He was sentenced to death.Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the life and crimes of Tookie Williams. This is a man who undoubtedly committed a laundry list of crimes during his life. But, the four murders for which he received the death penalty didn't seem to be gang related. Tookie is also an interesting study in that he seemingly turned his life around in prison. He began writing children's books denouncing the gang lifestyle on which he had been such a big influence. William Scott Day

Most of the time he spent outside of prison was because of his numerous prison escapes. His last escape was his most daring as he was able to talk a hospital supervisor into smuggling him out. While on the run, Day murdered at least six people during his 39 days of freedom.Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss William Scott Day. This man was a master manipulator who was able to talk people into doing what he wanted them to do. During his time on the run, Day used the Greyhound bus system to travel the country. Arthur Gary Bishop

Charles Cullen

Shayna had recently graduated from the University of Kentucky and was pursuing her master's degree. The two began an on-again off-again relationship in 2011. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the tragic murder of Ryan Poston. These two young people seemingly had it all. What happened during their year-and-a-half relationship to cause things to end so badly. The prosecution claimed that Shayna killed Ryan out of jealousy. She didn't want the relationship to end and found out he was dating someone else. The defense claimed she killed Ryan out of self-defense.This is an interesting case in that there is plenty of audio, including Shayna's 911 call and her interrogation tapes. Jaacob Van Winkle
