First Lesson – Romans 8:18-28 Gospel Lesson – John 16:33 Theme – In this sermon we go to scripture to straighten out some misconceptions concerning the “Will of God.” The truth on this topic brings comfort and strengthens faith.

First Lesson – Romans 3:19-28 Gospel Lesson – John 8:31-36 Theme – This week is an important one on the calendar. Reformation Day is on Thursday, and Friday is All Saint’s Day. In this week’s sermon we explore the we explore the historic events on these days and their meaning for our faith.

John 15:1-10 The world is different than the Kingdom of God. On earth, businesses and organizations are willing to accept losses. Jesus comes to save the lost…and spares no cost to find them. Bruce preaches on this powerful and important Bible reading in today’s message.

Romans 1:1-6 Bruce concludes our study on Christian obedience by focusing on God's grace and our apostleship.

First Peter 1:1-25 Bruce continues his series on Christian obedience. Today we find encouragement and guidance through the example of obedient followers of Jesus long ago in Rome.

Jesus tells us to make disciples by baptizing them in the name of our Triune God and teaching them to obey all that He commanded. Bruce begins his three part sermon series on Christian obedience with today’s message.

Last week Bruce preached the first part of our meditation on the singular nature of Christian love. In today’s message, we learn that such love serves, sacrifices and seeks the lost.

Bruce preaches on the singular love God gives us and shows us through the gift of Christ. This love is not a feeling or emotion, but a reality we receive in Jesus.

First Lesson – Isaiah 9:1-2 Gospel Lesson – Matthew 4:13-22 Theme – Located on the Sea of Galilee’s north shore, the village of Capernaum is the home base for Jesus ministry. Today the ruins of Capernaum still speak to us of the events and words recorded in the Gospels.
