Episode 573: Alzheimer's responds to lifestyle changes
06/08/2024 Duration: 06minTwo recent articles talked about how Alzheimer's responds to lifestyle changes. That is an amazing breakthrough on the one hand, but on the other hand, doesn't it make sense that someone with any neurologic issue, from Autism to Alzheimer's, would improve if they ate better, exercised more, and did stress-reduction protocols? Wouldn't we all be healthier with those lifestyle improvements? Here are the 2 articles: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC11157928/ https://alzres.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13195-024-01482-z

09/07/2024 Duration: 15minEver wonder how modern dentistry has become one of the most prestigious in the health care industry after its very humble beginnings? This podcast was originally aired in 2015.

04/06/2024 Duration: 12minADHD rates are now at 11.4% (that's 7.1 million kiddos), an extra 1 million kiddos compared to 2016 (see attached link for article). Infants as young as 6 weeks old can have characteristics that might lead to an autism diagnosis (see link). Chiropractors work on the brain and nerve system. The earlier we get a chance to work on kiddos, the better! Change trajectories! Time IS of the essence! Episode 563: Divert Attention- Green book series
28/05/2024 Duration: 13min"Stay put", BJ Palmer tells us. "The difference between a big shot & a little shot is that the big shot is a little shot that kept on shooting" (Zig Ziglar). Sometimes in order to solve a problem, the key in the solution is to keep on trying different things until you figure it out. This can be helpful when you are working with kids with Autism who are minimally speaking. Each child has their own 'language', and it will take time to learn how they prefer to communicate.

Episode 562: A new role for chiropractic?
20/05/2024 Duration: 16minIn 2 recent articles, (see links below), a 'new role of chiropractic' was introduced, that boils down to this: chiropractors should essentially 'stay in their lane' and adjust only people with back pain "without extending their services to other more controversial clinical areas." Hmm. The results we see in pediatric chiropractic care tend to totally refute their idea. I think I'll stick with my current role in chiropractic! Here are the 2 articles...Part 1: https://chiromt.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12998-024-00531-6, Part 2: https://chiromt.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12998-024-00532-5
