Along with her sisters, Elly Sapper and Nicole Meyer, Dassi fought a ten year battle to have her former head mistress, Malka Leifer, extradited from Israel to Australia to face trial for sexually abusing them when they were students at the ultra orthodox Adass Israel School in Melbourne.Malka Leifer was found guilty of sexually assaulting and raping Dassi and Elly, and in August 2023, she was sentenced to 15 years in jail with a non-parole period of 11 and a half years.Now Dassi has released a memoir, called "In Bad Faith".Even though they've told us so much of their story already, this book is a revelation.
