Former co-host and current frequent guest Darren Franich is now a married man! As a present, we asked him to assign us the movies that he would like to hear us discuss on his flight back from sunny Europe. He selected two classics: Carol Reed's THE THIN MAN and Michael Mann's COLLATERAL. VVSS Draft commissioner Clay Keller presides over a draft of the best Screwball Comedies of all time, as drafted by Vidiots' screwball comedy experts Robbie McCluskey and Angela Matano. 

Clay is joined by veteran Vidiots Angela Matano and Tom Cendejas to break down the 2018 Oscar ceremony. 

Cinematographer Rachel Morrison is nominated for an Oscar for MUDBOUND. She also lensed BLACK PANTHER, which is on track to be one of the biggest box office earners of all-time. Guillermo del Toro is one of the most acclaimed and beloved directors of the last twenty years, but, unbelievably, both Clay and Ryan had a seminal GDT film that they'd never seen. Until now. We right that wrong by watching CRONOS and PAN'S LABYRINTH, with detours into CRIMSON PEAK, THE DEVIL'S BACKBONE, and THE SHAPE OF WATER. Also: a little Oscar talk and what we think J-Law should do next!
