In an effort to avoid a 30% property tax increase for Boston homeowners, Mayor Michelle Wu has proposed a three-year tax increase for commercial properties. Commercial property values have dropped, some stating, because of the increased work-at-home model. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an impassioned speech to the U.N. The latest MCAS scores were released this week and show “concerning” results of decline in all major categories amongst all age groups in Massachusetts' public schools. Roughly, 16,000 10th graders failed at least one portion of the 2024 MCAS exam.
