Journalist Leslie Kean recently posted an article in The Huffington Post about a two year investigation by the Chilean government's official UFO investigation organization into a video captured by the Chilean Navy showing an object they cannot identify. The object was caught on an infrared camera, and according to the director of the UFO organization, “We do not know what it was, but we do know what it was not.” The video was investigated by CEFAA, an organization in Chile's equivalent of the FAA, which also falls under the jurisdiction of the Chilean Air Force. CEFAA has full cooperation with other branched of the Chilean government and also reaches out to other UFO research organization throughout the world. Open Minds UFO Radio: Paul Dean is an Australian who has been uncovering U.S. military secrets via the Freedom of Information Act. Although the U.S. government claims they have not been investigating UFOs since the close of the U.S. Air Force’s official UFO study, Project Blue Book, government records show otherwise. What has been difficult to track is who is collecting these reports and where are they going? One of the places we know they have been going to is North American Radar Defense (NORAD). NORAD has denied having any UFO files. However, UFO researchers have discovered that NORAD's claims are not accurate. Robert Powell is the Director of Research for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and the head of MUFON’s Scientific Review Board (SRB). For the past several years, the SRB has been putting together a top 10 list that they release at the MUFON Symposiums every summer. The 2015 list just came out a few weeks ago at the 2016 MUFON Symposium in late August. Although months have passed, Powell explains that the board needs that time to be sure the investigation of each case in 2015 is completed, and to have time for the SRN to review and do their own analysis. Marc has been involved with MUFON since 1971 and has a vast amount of experience investigating UFO cases.
