In December 2017 the New York Times dropped a bombshell report revealing the existence of a secret UFO research program within the Pentagon. The program is called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and according to the recently retired head of the program, Luis Elizondo, the program is still in operation to this day. In this lecture, I outline the nature of this program, what they found, and their shocking conclusions. I also cover more recent revelations that this program began with a scope beyond UFOs and included much stranger paranormal phenomenon. Dr. Michael P. Masters is a professor of biological anthropology at Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. He received a Ph.D. in Anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2009, where he specialized in human evolutionary anatomy, archaeology, and biomedicine. Sean Cahill was the Chief Master-at-Arms on the USS Princeton in 2004 during a multi-day UFO encounter. At the time, the Princeton was part of the Nimitz Carrier strike group. In November of 2004, the Nimitz Strike Group was conducting training exercises off the coast of San Diego when it picked up odd readings on radar. Eventually, an F-18 jet fighter was zeroed in to observe one of the objects and reported seeing a 40-foot long smooth, white object that looked like a TIC TAC. Later that day the object was caught on infrared video. In this interview, Sean discusses his experience being on board when the sightings occurred. He also shares his sighting at the time. Nick Pope worked for the British government’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) for nearly 20 years beginning in the mid-1980s. For several of those years, Nick staffed the UFO desk, investigating UFOs and handling press inquiries on the matter. He now as a media commentator and freelance journalists, often invited by major news networks to share insight into the UFO phenomenon and governments reactions. Kevin Day is a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer who specialized in radar systems. He is a TOPGUN air intercept controller with more than 20 years experience in strike group air defense including war-time operations. In November of 2004, off the coast of San Diego, Kevin was a radar operator on the USS Princeton, part of the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group. Over several days unknown objects were observed on radar. On several occasions, aircraft were directed to find the objects. The pilots reported seeing 40 foot-long Tic Tac shaped objects that performed remarkable maneuvers beyond the capability of our aircraft. This incident was made famous in a New York Times article in December 2017 in which it was also revealed the Pentagon had a secretive UFO investigation program.
