The Word of God is a living book because it is God's Book. It discloses his purposes and plans from eternity to eternity.

What is the rest into which believers are urged to enter? How does one fail to do so?

Only believers know what real forgiveness is. Only forgiven people can truly forgive others. When they do it is only as they should have done.

Jesus continues to emphasize the love of money to the Pharisees. Men who claim Abraham as their father did not have the faith of Abraham or know Abraham's God.

The danger of unbelief is very real where the gospel is preached. Believers must exhort each other to keep believing.

The sons of this world plan for the future; should not the sons of light be as wise?

The Hebrew Christians were greatly tempted to return to the ways of the Old Covenant and Moses. Among the things the were considering, they were urged to "consider Jesus."

It can not be emphasized to often just how important the doctrine of propitiation is to a peaceful and useful Christian life.

The father of this parable had two sons; both were lost - one in the far country, the other in the father's house.

Why did Jesus come into the world as a human being? The incarnation explains the ability of Jesus to suffer and dies for our sins.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son leads on to believe that the lost son is central in the story. The central character is the Father.

In what sense is the Captain of our salvation made perfect through suffering?

Sheep are very defenseless animals. Without a shepherd they will perish. Jesus is the Good Shepherd.

The question is posed - who will rule in the word to come? Obviously it will not be angel?

Jesus admonishes those who are following him to count the cost before their commit themselves.

The thing that makes drifting so dangerous is that it is imperceptible. It comes through neglectful living.

This is a great lesson telling who is qualified to be citizens of the Kingdom of God.

In seeking to encourage wavering believers, our writer shows Christ to be preeminent over all things.

The Pharisees were relentless in seeking to discredit Jesus, even to planting a sick man that Jesus may heal him on the Sabbath, thus being accused of profaning the Sabbath.
