Great Time to Be a Milan Fan

The Derby, Death, and Football
19/10/2020 Duration: 38minHell yeah. Milan won the Derby. Undefeated since the restart, top of the table, but earning a win over Inter is by far my personal favorite accomplishment. However, unfortunately, it came under the cloud of a discussion about a deadly virus and a protocol that promotes politics instead of health, safety, and life. Still, despite Italy and Serie A's complete failure to do the right things, Milan were not to be stopped. Aaron and I celebrated what was for both of us a Saturday morning celebration of epic proportions. On this Episode: • Quote of the Week from Maldini • Mercato Update • Injury Update • Serie A Protocol • Derby della Madonnina Also, don't miss the Elite Football Show's "Mental Health & Football Special" featuring Rob Blanchette and Ryan and Dan from the Man Marking Podcast on iTunes, Spotify, and more. Such an important discussion for everyone to know about. Thanks so much to Aaron for celebrating the Derby and talking about the serious things, too. Give him a follow on Twitter @AaronJBradley

Learning to Win
05/10/2020 Duration: 42minMilan continued their feel good story of the year with a perfect start to the season ahead of the international break. They even survived an insane penalty shootout in the Europa League last week, and lived to qualify for the Group Stage. With the mercato closing today, Vinny and I had so much to talk about, including how fans are learning to win.

Evidence-based Optimism
26/08/2020 Duration: 33minAt this time of the year, Milan fans are used to having mercato PTSD. But this year, we have evidence that we can be optimistic. To prove that, Nic from Milan Club Boston and I took a tour of some of the summer mercato signings of the past eight years. After remembering some of the “marquee” signings from those years, we realized that we have so much evidence to be optimistic about Milan this year. On this episode: Becoming a Milan fan European Schadenfreude Summer mercato flashbacks Thank you so much to Nic for sharing his Milan origin story and talking Milan past and present. Do You Trust Gazidis?
25/07/2020 Duration: 49minMilan are still undefeated after the break, and have actually scored the most goals of any other team, too. But all of that was completely overshadowed this week by news off the pitch. On the one hand, Pioli was handed a well-deserved contract renewal. On the other hand, a nine month soap opera featuring Ralf Rangnick came to an end. Rui and I talked through all of it, and then asked ourselves how much do you trust Gazidis? Massive Wins
09/07/2020 Duration: 28minFirst Lazio, then Juventus. Milan played both of the top teams within four days, and both matches were absolutely massive wins. A clean sheet and three goals against a Lazio team that was very exciting before the break, then coming back from two down to beat Juventus four to two was epic. Also a massive victory over years of controversy. Miguel broke down both matches with me as we kept the celebrations going. On this episode: Milan News Lazio-Milan match Milan-Juventus match Thank you so much to Miguel for a great chat about two epic games. Failing Our Youth
29/05/2020 Duration: 32minThe past few years, Milan have had one of the youngest teams in Europe. And yet, if you look at those players, how many of them have we failed? Looking back, youth development has been non-existent. Now, there is a new youth project rumored on the horizon, even though consistency seems to be the biggest way we have failed our youth in the past. Jesús and I looked back and then forward to talk about how Milan is still failing our youth. On this episode: The Galliani Era Young players loaned and sold Criteria for developing youth Future youth project?
