I attended AA for 36 years. Abstinent. After I worked the steps in and out 3 times in a row ( over the years I did them over again as well) I found myself lacking and seeing "the steps" for what they were. Pretty useless and in many ways harmfull for a young teen like myself who was already good at blaming myself. At 4 years sober and 22 years old I began my quest for real help and answers. At first I read books like The Greatest Secret in the World by Og Mandino, then I began doing outside spitiual healings which did help. I excercised regularly and I searched for truth. Still I suffered with great emotional pain that no one in AA had any answers for  and in fact made me feel worse at times. I will share and discuss the many paths, books, theraputic means I took that finaly got me to a place where I realized I had childhood trauma, I got help from a real PhD, I did rage work and then found out that I was NEVER BROKEN. This has been a great year filled with many wonderful surprises.  Along with  the success of being a chapter in  Gabrielle Glaser's book  Her Best Kept Secret, Why Women Drink and How They Can Regain Control, being on Katie Couric this summer, raising the money on indie gogo so I could continue making the film with a more professional look, connecting with Producer Michael Kuehnert who has greatly helped me continue making the film, then being accepted by the IDA to be my fiscal sponsor so I can raise funds in a nonprofit way, hiring a great editor, Barry Rubinow to make the new 7.5 min trailer and see the final pieces of the puzzle coming together to finish and release the film sometime this coming 2014. It will be my last show of the year to talk about all I learned this year including who I will promote as my favorite authors and favorite for profit Addiction treatment programs. When did this happen and why. Who forced them. Why does AA not do this same thing. Was AL Anon sued?

Man's Throat Slit "in  an AA Meeting", Charlotte Man PLeads guilty in shooting death of AA sponsor...Woman  and 13 year old daughter murdered  by man she met in an AA meeting...and the list goes on.  SO WHY DOES AA World Headquarters tell its members...Its an outside issue when they call to say someone has been raped or 13 stepped by men they meet in AA.  Know two things...AA is not safe. 2) Your Rights are broken when told to go there by a judge or a lawyer. AA is already deemed "highly religious in 25 states" .  Many members have been taken for thousnads of dollars and never go to the police...why? Why do these people think AA members get of scott free?

Karla Brada, Kristine and Suandra Cass, were all murderd by men sent to AA as part of a plea deal. WTF is happening.
