She is joined weekly by her minions, Phil. Sometimes they get out of hand and she has to bap them over the head with her walking stick or let lose the dragon. But a good time is had by all. Selections from the Mess is the pod-friendly music from each weekly program.

Original Air Time: Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 11am Central on KZUM-HD, KZUM-Lincoln. Lavender Hill is a GLBTQA news and talk program hosted by Corwin and Phil. This episode features music by Judy Garland, Tom Goss and Roy Zimmerman as well as talk about the repeal and senstivity training involved for DADT, some mention of DOMA laws and transgendered issues. Eight weeks out of the year we are required to track certain information throughout the broadcast day.  This sometimes some shows to play less pod-friendly music. As was the case with this episode. KaliSara, the resident Pagan parent, thought it would be a good idea to visit the topic of parental deities. So, this week we will discuss some of the better known (and lesser known) gods and goddesses of parenting.

Author, hypnotist and all around fun guy, MagicMark joins RevKess and KaliSara this week. They will be discussing his book MagicMark and His Magical Ways. A guide to helping yourself and others through the power of positive thought and word manipulation.

Corwin and Phil were joined by KZUM supporter, transgendered guest Gracie for their May 8th show. Lavender Hill is part of the Wimmin's Show on KZUM and airs every Sunday at 11am Central.

At long last, the Mother's Day show from KZUM's Murphy's Magic Mess. We had a very special guest, Gracie. Gracie and her partner are major financial supports of KZUM and true friends of the Mess.

On May 1, 2011, Corwin was joined by special guest Kate Smith. Kate is a former programmer on KZUM (hosted Polka Celebration), a mother, and a bisexual woman. She filled in on the Hill for Phil while was out of town. Among other things, Corwin and Kate visited about the Kinsey Scale. At the end of the segment, they were joined briefly by Deb Andersen, host of The Wimmin's Show, the mother program for Lavender Hill.

On April 2, 2011, RevKess and KaliSara did a show discussing the issue of transgendered Pagans and their placce in ritual - a direct reference to the PantheaCon Incident. Unfortunately, BTR was having some major technical issues which caused sound break-ups and switchboard disconnects. This week, they are going to cover the topic again and perhaps go in a different direction or off on more tangents than they did before. Both hosts feel the issue is significant enough to be taken seriously, as evidenced by this second broadcast. Ah, the joys of live podcasting.

The Beltaine episode, at long last. This episode is taken from the May 1, 2011 airing of Murphy's Magic Mess on KZUM with a special gust host, Kate. Phil was unavailable due to an expo in Omaha that weekend.

Re-purposing schtuff is just as easy as recycling and certainly less hazardous to the environment than simply tossing them in the landfill.
