Monette and Hess chose the self-publishing route, so this could be an enlightening conversation for aspiring writers.

Spinning off from the Pagan-Musings Podcast, Pagan Weekly News bring you news, views and interviews from a Pagan perspective. Hosts RevKess and Zaracon combine their efforts to bring listeners a discussion of some of the mainstream media events as well as Pagan media coverage.   Tonight Zaracon and RevKess will discuss some of the on-going drama at PantheaCon with Z Budapest and this year's theme of unity in Diversity. This week on Lavender Hill, hosts Phil and Corwin continued with their four part transgender series by interviewing Deirdre Hebert for WSCA Portsmouth, NH community radio and host of PaganFM! Deirdre is a male to female transgender, former Airforce service member, parent and grandparent. She has also recently published the book "The Pagan in Recovery". Catherine Balta, lead singer and drummer for the Lincoln-based rock group Once A Pawn also joined them in studio. Former KZUM programmer and friend of the Hill, Kate Smith sat in during the show.   February 19th celebrated one year of Lavender Hill. The hosts are very grateful to the listeners and extremely thankful for their support over the last year. On February 12, 2012, activist, speaker and author Ryan Sallans joined Corwin and Phil in the KZUM studios for a chat about his up coming book and many transgender issues.

KaliSara and RevKess have done several shows on Sacred Sexuality: The original Sacred Sexuality episode from September 2009; Sacred Sexuality pt 2 from  April 2010; Sacred Sexuality pt 3: LGBT+ Pagans from October 2010; and The Magick of Men who Love Men with our guest Hyperion in January 2011. This time they are going to address it from the psycho-sensual aspect of the topic.   Sex is a concept most traditional religions (read the Big 5) assign strictly to procreation or at least as between one man and one woman. That, despite all evidence to the contrary, is what many conservative persons (regardless of religious beliefs) accept as how "nature intended it." February is the four part Transgender Series on Lavender Hill. In this first segment of the series, Corwin and Phil discuss some of the history of the transgender community. Episode aired live on Sunday the 5th.   On the 12th, Ryan Sallans joins the guys in studio for an interview. On the 19th, Deirdre Hebert and Catherine Balta will be chiming in with their thoughts and experiences. On Sunday the 29th of January, John Heineman visited with Corwin and Phil. John is the founder of the first Gay Straight Alliance in the Lincoln, NE public school system. This was written and recorded as a part of the Medition & Meeting Your Animal Guide episode of the Mother show, Pagan-Musings Podcast. The version contained in the episode had some sound issues. RevKess and KaliSara delve a little deeper into the world of meditation with the first part of this episode.  They will discuss some of the techniques of meditation and how it can benefit you on a regular basis. Included in this segment is a pre-recorded meditation written and narrated by RevKess. The meditation is geared towards helping the listener to discover one of their animal guides. The rest of the show will discuss animal guides and the lines will be open for listeners who took part in the meditation to call in and talk about what they experienced. The hosts will also talk about the distinction between an animal guide, an animal totem and the potential of an animal self or aspect.
