October 11th is one of several "Queen Quet Day" celebrations. This year, Queen Quet will celebrate live online and will discuss truly supporting celebrating indigenous people and NOT Columbus. She will also cover the numerous celebrations in the Gullah/Geechee Nation that have taken place this fall and that are coming up and how each one is a time to pay homage to the Gullah/Geechee ancestors and keep the traditions alive for the next generation.
