It is important to find a good rhythm of work, rest and play in our lives. Sabbath is a vision and the goal of creation. In it we rediscover our place within the Lord and within the universe. We rediscover our specialness as sons and daughters of God. We are re-centered. We are rejuvenated. And these kinds of shapings are really powerful in our lives. We look toward the Scripture in Exodus 20:8-11 to read about Sabbath and Pastor Steve remarks on this commandment and these values.    

On this evening, we read together 1 John and look at the two big themes in the book. Tonight we discuss the idea of light.

Marriage and family life is tough. We are broken people living in a fragmented society, but God's Word gives us direction for how we are called to care for ourselves, our children and our spouses. Pastor Steve reads from Ephesians 5:15 - 6:4 and gives insight and encouragement to work towards a better family life. 

Pastor Steve reads through the book of Revelation and talks through it's structure.

To begin our new Sunday morning series, Pastor Steve reads from Ephesians 4:1-16, talking about unity in the Body.

As part of our time together at Women's Worship Evening, Julie Langenberg read through Psalm 23 and discussed how the passage applies to our lives as women and followers of Christ.

Continuing in the Book of John, we read John 21:1-25 and Pastor George highlights a few things Peter learned and what that means for us today.

A.J. Swoboda, founding pastor of Theophilus church in Portland is our guest for the morning and we read and study together in Matthew 28:16-20.

Continuing in our series in John, we read together John 20.

We read together Luke 24 on the appearance of Jesus on Easter morning and explore what it means for us today.

During this Holy Week, we read together John 19:14-30 about the death of Jesus.  

What does Jesus' death on the cross mean to us as Christians and what does it signal? On this Palm Sunday, we look to the Scriptures in the Gospel of John to prepare us to take communion together and Pastor Steve outlines four meanings of Jesus' death.

Continuing in the book of John, we read together John 18 and examine some of the key elements in the passage.

As we are being shaped and transformed by God, what are some practical changes we can make in our lives? We look to the Scriptures in Romans 12-15 and see what Paul has to say.  

There is a blessing in unity -- in being one. George reads in Philippians and talks about being on the same team in spite of our differences.  

Sometimes we have to fall apart in order to become truly put together; sometimes we have to fall down in order to truly rise up -- It's a necessary deconstruction. We look to the scriptures in Isaiah 6 and Steve explains how God uses these times to reveal beautiful and wonderful growth.  

We gathered together to study the Scriptures in John 17 and Beth Barone gives insight into this prayer of Jesus.

Does true change begin and work from the inside out or the outside in? Together we look to the Scriptures (Romans 12,:1-2 2 Cor. 3:18 and Mark 9:2-4) and Pastor Steve explores transformation as part of our own recovery and development.  

We will encounter suffering in our lives, but through the Spirit we can find success and fulfillment. Pastor Steve reads from John 16 and discusses these last words of Jesus.
