Mistakes and the inability to get more then one goal cost the Blues in this 4-1 Loss. The offensive effort and physical play was there, but Valarmov was just to strong in net for the Avalanche.

The Blues go ahead 2-0 and weather a third period storm by the Ducks to win 4-2.

The Blues grabbed a 2-0 lead in the firts period and never looked back. They added two goals in the second period and poured it on in the third period with three more goals. After having a great game in a 2-0 loss to the Sharks on Thursday Jake Allen stopped 38 of the 40 shots that he faced against the Kings.

The Blues give Jake Allen no offensive support in this loss to the Sharks. Allen allowed one goal in the third period with the Sharks adding a late empty net goal for the 2-0 win. The Sharks would get goals fro Mikkel Boedker and Tomas Hertl in the third period.

The Blues inability to hold on to a lead in the third period has haunted them this year and this game was no exception. The Stars tied the game at two each with just 2 minutes and 56 seconds left in the third period on a goal by Antoine Radulov. Jame Benn would get the game winner in overtime. The Blues get back in to the win columm with a hard fought 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings. The Blues got the lead early in the second period on a goal by Scottie Upshall. Alex Pietrangelo added the Blues second goal with just a little over five minutes left in the game. Detroit added a late goal by Andreas Athanasiou, but it was not enough and the Blues win 2-1.

The Blues extend their losing streak to seven games with a 8-3 loss to the Wild. The game was plagued with Blues mistakes that lead to many of the eight Wild goals. Jake Allen was pulled after giving up three goals for backup Carter Hutton. Hutton would not fair any better and gave up five goals in the loss. We end the podcast with where this team is going, what is actually wrong,. Will they make the playoffs?

The Blues fans were hoping for a busy trade deadline and that the Blues would add a veteran who could add scoring punch to their anemic offense. It was not meant to be. The Blues only action was to trade upcoming UFA veteran center Paul Stastny to the Winnipeg Jets for 2 draft picks and Providence forward Erik Foley.

The Blues show no life in their sixth loss in a row. The Predators handled the Blues easily in the 4-0 win. The trade deadline is coming up tomorrow what will the Blues do?

The Blues continued their losing streak with a 4-0 lose to the Jets. The Blues dominated the Jets for the first few minutes of the first period, but the Jets scored 2 goals within 45 seconds of each other and took a 2-0 lead in to the second half of the first period. They would add a power play goal late in the first and a fourth goal in the second for the road win.

The Blues give up 3 goals in the second period and fall 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks. The Blues two goals were scored by Vladimir Tarasenko and Ivan Barbashev. We finish the podcast discussing this teams talent, effort, and of course, whether a trade will help this team or not.

The Blues inability to score took away from a great effort by their goalie Jake Allen. Jake allowed 2 goals, but one of them went off his own defensemen Carl Gunnarsson. The Stars goals were supplied by Mattias Janmark and Stephen Johns. While the Blues lone goal was scored by Brayden Schenn. 

This minor move for Sochnikov may be just the frist for the Blues as we head to the trade deadline. Could the Blues be looking at Rick Nash, Josh Gorges, Mike Hoffman, Patrick Maroon, Evander Kane, Max Pacioretty, or could there be someone else out there that fits in with the Blues cap space and style of play. The Blues had their best period of this season and the worst period of the season all in this game. They had a commanding 3-0 lead going in to the third period, but gave up three goals in the third period and an overtime penalty shot goal in this 4-3 loss. This game was an emotonal rollcoaster for Blues fans. The Blues though they had went ahead 2-1, but the goal was called back for a high stick. It seem to really deflate the Blues and the Penguins would go on to win 4-1. Sydney Crosby would nab his 400th and 401st goal of his career.

The Blues fast the best home team in the NHL on Friday after beating the Avalanche on Thursday 6-2. Their offense would stay red hot with 5 goals. They were lead by Vladimir Tarasenko who had 2 goals. Jake Allen gave the Blues a great goaltending performance by allowing just 2 goals on 22 shots.

The Blues offense has been very suspect as of late. but they bombarded the Avalanche with 6 goals in their win on Thursday. The Blues were lead by Brayden Schenn with 2 goals and Vince Dunn with 3 assist. Carter Hutton got back on the winning track with a stellar performance. He held the avalanche to just 1 goal.

The Blues were plagued by mistakes and bad goaltending in this 6-2 loss. Carter Hutton started the game, but after giving up 3 goals in the 1st period Jake allen assumed goaltending duties for the rest of the game. However, the result was the same. As allen gave up 3 goals of his own.

The Blues got a late goal from Carl gunnarsson to lead them to a 1-0 shuout over the Sabres. We also discuss the Blues lack of scoring, trade rumors, and Jake Allen's lack of playing time. 

Jake Allen of the Blues returned in goal to start his first game since January 9th. Jake gave more then a stellar effort in the loss. The Bruins 1st goal of the game appeared to be due to goalie interference against Jake Allen. However, after a Blues coaches challenge the referee decided it was not interference and allowed the goal to stand. The Blues lone goal was scored by Jaden Schwartz late in the 3rd Period.
