Conceding the late goal to the Vancouver Whitecaps extended Sporting Kansas City's winless streak to seven games and this podcast is running short on positivity. But Cody, Aly, & Thad are here to talk you off the ledge. We find something good - and something bad - from last weekend's gut punch of a draw. The progression is happening, the team is starting to look like themselves again, but the result was the same. Yohan Croizet has been a hot button issue and the podcast is incredibly disappointed in his performance this season. But Matt Besler is back and his teammates and coach could not be happier about it. The gang were back at it again but this time we had a very special guest. Rob Thomson, Sporting Kansas City Chief Communications Officer stopped in the studio for what was going to be a segment of our regular podcast. It ended up too long and so much fun that it needed to be a standalone pod. For those who dod not know, Rob (or Robo as we all know him) has been with the team since 1997 and has wore a lot of hats in that time. Back at it again! Robert, Cody and Thad get together again with a little time between games. What an interesting match with New York that was. The big discussion point was of course the well deserved red card to Kaku. The real question is what will MLS do with him. Additional suspension? Fines? Sporting Kansas City laid a beatdown on the Montreal Impact over the weekend. Seven goals... SEVEN goals! A Nemeth hat trick, an amazing performance from Gerso and the entire team made for a really fun afternoon. The crew name their favorite goal of the day. A littke chat about the first sub off the bench was a 16 year old who then went and scored.  As much fun as kicking Montreal's rear back to Canada was, the boys have to turn attention to CCL and a huge match in Monterrey. MLS is taking a break during the FIFA window but that doesn't mean that Cody, Robert and Thad have nothing to discuss. A dominate win at home and another on the road and now Sporting KC has to pivot to MLS play.
