I was sent a comment posted in another lacrosse forum that really bothered me. Basically an old-school, out-of-touch coach, who insisted that not only should your goalie NOT be wearing pads like shin guards, etc, but why you should leave your club if they make you wear them. The idea of adding weight to a lacrosse goalie stick to help a goalie move faster when they go back to a lighter stick has been around forever. And it's not just for lacrosse.
