Psalm 55:1-8 1 Listen to my prayer, O God,     do not ignore my plea; 2     hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught 3     because of what my enemy is saying,     because of the threats of the wicked; for they bring down suffering on me     and assail me in their anger. 4 My heart is in anguish within me;     the terrors of death have fallen on me. 5 Fear and trembling have beset me;     horror has overwhelmed me. 6 I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!     I would fly away and be at rest. 7 I would flee far away     and stay in the desert; 8 I would hurry to my place of shelter,     far from the tempest and storm.”

Psalm 66:1-7 1 Shout for joy to God, all the earth! 2     Sing the glory of his name;     make his praise glorious. 3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!     So great is your power     that your enemies cringe before you. 4 All the earth bows down to you;     they sing praise to you,     they sing the praises of your name. 5 Come and see what God has done,     his awesome deeds for mankind! 6 He turned the sea into dry land,     they passed through the waters on foot—     come, let us rejoice in him. 7 He rules forever by his power,     his eyes watch the nations—     let not the rebellious rise up against him.

Psalm 27:1-7 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?  2 When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.  3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.  4 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.  5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.  6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.  7 Hear my voice when I call, LORD; be merciful to me and answer me.

Psalm 133:1-3 1 How good and pleasant it is     when God’s people live together in unity! 2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,     running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard,     down on the collar of his robe. 3 It is as if the dew of Hermon     were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing,     even life forevermore.

They will not be put to shame     when they contend with their opponents in court.

Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Psalm 100:1-5 1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2     Worship the Lord with gladness;     come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the Lord is God.     It is he who made us, and we are his;     we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving     and his courts with praise;     give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;     his faithfulness continues through all generations.
