Ten Tenths Podcast

Adam and Robert do their first podcast together. They discuss: moving the Kanga Motorsports Studio to Robert's house, why the electric car community thinks they needs so many acronyms, updates on their race cars, the elephant in the room, and, as always, the news.To the delight of all the fans, the guys get sidetracked in their conversation and still manage to create a 2 hour long show.Welcome to the 2nd act of Ten Tenths Podcast; there may be some changes along the way but the same unprofessional-ism you know and love isn’t going anywhere.

The guys take a stab at annoying the American, Euro, and JDM fanboys by recklessly ranking iconic cars from each category. Adam also briefly shares some bizarre supercars from the Dubai Autoshow. 

In lieu of a normal show this week, we are releasing Johnathan Burchardt and Robert's LIVE podcast recording from the 2019 SCCA Time Trials Nationals at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park.

The guys take a look at some of the world's most outragous time attack cars, Michael explains why he loves watches (and why it's related to cars), and they discuss the potential future for electric cars. 

Now that the guys are all in their 30s, they can rant and rave all they want about how all these dang kids aren't into cars anymore! They also take a few minutes to explore the new Corvette (in street and racecar form), and discuss a potentially easy electric motor swap.

The guys poll the group to find what are some of the worst automotive decisions the members have made; they are overwhelmed by the number of hilarous responses. Don't forget to join the Facebook group (still named Ten Tenths Podcast Consortium) to join us on weekly post-show discussions, and other randomness. 

Robbie has retuned from a whirlwind tour to Kentucky to compete in the SCCA's Time Trials Nationals. While he was there, in addition to racing, he gave a few hugs and made a few friends (no seriously, he was very social). 

The time has come to drag this gem out of the archives: the guys attempt to guess the price of cars they've found on Craigslist and eBay. Of course, everyone knows that pricing on Craigslist isn't based in any form of reality.   

After a hiatus last week, the guys have a few updates to share including Robbie's triumphant return to Time Trials. Adam puts Facebook's algorithm to the test and we all try to find out who is listening in on our conversations. 

Adam does his best to decode the Most Confusing Man in the World, Robbie strips a bolt, and we discuss the best car-related TV shows. 

James Chartres from Kanga Motorsports opens himself up to the abuse of an AMA, by answering listeners' questions from the Consortium. Questions include useful racing advice, and crap about conspiracy theories. 

Adam takes control of this week's show and brings a surprise topic to Michael and Robbie. The guys also run through some garage updates and discuss a couple conspiracy theories. 

The guys let the members of the Consortium run our Craigslist challenge this week, and it reinforces the theory that no one truly understands Robbie. If you haven't yet, don't forget to join the Facebook group: "Ten Tenths Podcast Consortium." No we haven't changed it back to "Group" yet, mostly because we're lazy. 

We finally get the three dudes together at Boonie’s shop and everyone gets along! Boonie tells us about his first experience at Le Mans, the status of the WRL team, and confirms that Switzerland is the greatest country in the world. 

Regular Adam joins us after a couple of weeks of fun automotive experiences, including a massive swap meet and Gridlife Alpine Horizon. Also, we give solid suggestions for getting your significant other to leave you. 

Regular Adam is gone this week so Flatam, Michael, and Robert discuss a recent track day mishap involving a knocking engine. 

The boys get together this week to review good cars you've probably forgotten about, and share revelations about US geography.   

Robert recaps his most recent track experience at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, and tells the guys about his most recent promotion.

The guys recap their first SCCA Time Trials National Tour event at Heartland Motorsports Park. Though Robert has run several events with MidDiv, Michael and Adam recap their first ever time trials event as competitors!

It has been quite a while since the guys did a full project car update, and they seem to be collecting more cars. The guys do a quick run-through on what they've completed on their cars in preparation for the SCCA Time Trails at Heartland Motorsports Park.
