Elkton, MD — Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by the USTA/BetAmerica, is excited to announce the line-up for Thursday morning (Oct. 9) at 10:30 a.m. They will be joined by Ron Burke, Pete Venaglia, and Ayers Ratliff. The 2019 $1 million Yonkers International Trot is the highlight to the stakes weekend and trainer Ron Burke brings his confident Hambletonian winning mare Atlanta into the big race. She worked out very well over Yonkers last week and seems to be fit and ready heading into Saturday. The pair will talk with Pete Venaglia from Yonkers Raceway as they dive into how to handicap the big race. Venaglia will help the pair decipher through some of the International contestants and how he sees the race shaping up. Grand Circuit action returns to Northfield Park on Saturday night with the $120,500 Courageous Lady Stakes for 3-year-old pacing fillies. Elkton, MD — Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by USTA/BetAmerica is proud to announce the schedule for Hoosier Park Pacing Derby night on Friday (Sept. 20) at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. The duo’s broadcast will begin at 8 p.m. and run until 11 p.m., covering races 7-12. Mike and Mike will be joined by former analyst Jessica Otten, DRF contributor Garnet Barnsdale, and regular contributor Taylor Johnston. Otten will co-host and offer insight throughout the program, with Barnsdale sharing his in-depth analysis, and Johnston providing pre- and post-race interviews. The stakes laden program at Hoosier Park has a first post of 6:30 p.m. and will feature some of North America’s top pacers and trotters. The mare Hannelore Hanover will take on the boys in the Caesars Trotting Classic as she did in 2017 when she finished second. The 2018 Dan Patch featured champion Lazarus N who kicked off his U.S. campaign with a victory over the Harrah’s Hoosier Park oval. He returned one month later to the excitement of fans with a victory in the Hoosier Park Pacing Derby. Mike and Mike will have extensive coverage of the Dan Patch beginning at 8:30 p.m. via their website that will run for 2-1/2 hours. The race has drawn contenders from across the country including Delvin Miller Adios champion Southwind Ozzi.
