Listen in this week as Brandon Dowling and Joe Blewett discuss the recent free agent signings by the NY Jets and how the offseason is shaping up. The offensive line has been revamped, depth seems to be a focus of the new regime. This week Connor Hughes is our guest and he will give his thoughts on who will be available when the Jets are on the clock with the 6th pick in the NFL Draft. Connor, who is a New York Jets beat and feature writer, recently broke down game film on some recent Jets acquisitions. We will speak with him about what he learned about James Carpenter, Buster Skrine and Marcus Gilchrist.        

It has been an interesting offseason for the New York Jets. Free agency is here and the Jets roster has many new additions that have JetNation excited. The secondary has been revamped with the additions of Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine.  Willie Colon, David Harris and Bilal Powell are back and Percy Harvin is gone. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brandon Marshall have been added to the offense. Listen in this week as we talk about these additions to the Jets roster. Several reports this week mentioned that the Jets are in even better shape than originally estimated, because the salary cap went up and the Jets were under the cap last year. Jason will fill in the blanks and let us know exactly how much room the Jets have to work with.  Free agency begins on March 10th, so we will also discuss some possible free agent targets for the New York Jets.

Chris Johnson may no longer be a New York Jet, but he had some interesting comments about John Idizik this week. The Jets ended the season on a winning note in Miami to finish 4 and 12 on the season, then Black Monday came in without any delay. Rex Ryan and John Idzik were both fired on Monday morning. Woody Johnson held a press conference on Monday and discussed the direction of the team. Former GMs Ron Wolf and Charley Casserly were brought in as consultants and they will work with Woody to select the next general manager, and possibly coach. The new general manager will inherit the 6th pick in the NFL Draft and a lot of salary cap room. The New York Jets might of played one of there better games this past Sunday but still came up short. The defense seemed like it had all the answers for Tom Brady and company but it was still not enough. Geno Smith says a coaching change might be good for the team. The New York Jets did something they haven't done much of this season; they won a football game. They beat the Tennessee Titans and it was a back and forth game that was decided in the last few seconds. Some fans seemed upset that the Jets won, and they bumped themselves down on draft day. Heisman Winner Marcus Mariota is the QB that many Jets fans want, but is he now out of reach? The New England Patriots come to town for the Jets final home game. The Jets have announced a new "directed in parking" procedure in Lot L and many fans are upset. At the top of that list is the Fire John Idzik organizers, who are giving out penalty flag towels to fans. As part of a peaceful protest to get Idzik fired. It seems to be a forgone conculsion that Rex Ryan will be fired. Will John Idzik and the rest of the front office be fired with him? Listen in as we discuss this and more on JetNation Radio. 

The New York Jets lost another one and fell to 2 and 11 on the season. As a result of the lackluster play, the Fire John Idzik movement is getting stronger and stronger. The group behind the website FireJohnIdzik.com is giving out 10,000 penalty flags for fans to use for the Jets final home game against the Patriots. Each towel says Fire John Idzik.  We will talk about that, along with who else is going to get fired after the season. As far as the team on the field is concerned the next opponent is the Tennessee Titans. The game has big implications on the order in which the Jets will draft in the spring. We look at some draft scenarios as the Jets have no shortage of holes to fill next year. Percy Harvin is injured, has he done enough to warrant bringing him back next season with a big salary cap number? Sheldon Richardson had a monster game last week. We will talk about him as well as take your calls.  

The New York Jets ran the ball well on Monday night, but still managed to come up short and lost to the Miami Dolphins. Quarterback Geno Smith threw the ball 13 times total and ended the game with a costly interception. A 2-10 Jets team tries to find some answers as we all sit and wonder what the future holds for everyone in the organization.  As the Jets head into the last few weeks of the season, changes are certainly headed this way.  On Monday night the Jets did honor Wayne Chrebet and several ex-Jets were present for the Ring of Honor ceremony.
