Andy Belanger and Becky Cloonan
27/03/2012 Duration: 01h17sAndy first came to my attention when I began reading Kill Shakespeare, but he's done so much more than just that. From there I found a comic that resonated with the ostracized youth inside me. Bottle of Awesome. However, today we talked mostly about his forthcoming project: Black Church and his love of Metal and History. And for Becky Cloonan Yeesh, how does one even start. She works on Conan for crap's sake, but let's not pigeon hole her. Even if that'd be a pretty crom-tastic pigeon hole. She has worked on things like Northlanders, Demo, American Virgin, and the comic that made my penis move: Wolves. She hates the Tudors, and has plans on making a comic about a Roman Slave Girl, heck yes it sounds romantic!

George Zotti
02/03/2012 Duration: 50minGeorge Zotti is the manager and co-owner of Silver Snail Comics in Toronto. Silver Snail Comics has been a staple of the Queen St. West neighborhood for quite some time. Zotti has commented that some comics, such as the Archie series, have been updating their content to reflect the changes in society -- a recent issue of Archie Comics featured a gay wedding - suggesting two topics - homosexuality and marriage - that would never have been covered in earlier editions. So, as society continues to change and become more technologically savvy, Silver Snail Comics must also adapt to survive. Zotti hopes to increase the online presence and social media of Silver Snail Comics. Ideally, he wants to preserve the essence of Silver Snail by ensuring that when people visit the store they're still left with a lasting impression - much like he had when he first journeyed into Silver Snail Comics as a child.
