After leaving the FBI, Asha Rangappa was an Associate Dean at Yale Law School. She has also taught National Security Law and related courses at Yale University, Wesleyan University, and the University of New Haven. Dave Richter believes that the investigation was a success and the Johnston brothers were brought to justice due to the combined efforts of the federal, state, county, and local law enforcement agencies assigned.
