“This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name..." Matthew 6v9

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." Matthew 15 v5&6

We learn 3 key things from the story of Samon's marriage: 1) Sin makes us indistinguishable from the world around us, 2) God will act in whatever way he wants to preserve his name, 3) God's grace overrides our sinfulness

"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you." Isaiah 66 v13

"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6 v11-12

The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12 v1-3

"A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd." Luke 19 v2&3

"Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3 v 22-23
