So many people throw that word around — "luck" — when discussing success in LA.  "I got lucky when I booked that job!" "I was in the right place at the right time, I just got lucky!" "You're moving to LA? I hope you get lucky. How else will you make it?" I simply don't agree with any of these statements, and as long as you're fed this information, you'll constantly feel defeated before you even begin.
