  • LA Bound #55: Stop Blaming Events in Your Life, Change Your Response

    13/06/2016 Duration: 47min

Sorry I missed last week! I was busy attending Jack Canfield's live event in Los Angeles and being a total fan girl! In today's episode, I share inspiring content that I learned at Jack's event. Starting with Jack's famous formula: E+R=O, Event + Response = Outcome. Most of us live our lives switching that formula to Events + Outcome = Response. Events happen in our life, determining out outcome, and then we respond to that. But our outcome is actually determined on how we respond to the events that happen in our life. When events happen in your career, that feel out of our control, all we can do is control how we respond to them.

  • LA Bound #44: Why "Luck" Has Nothing To Do With It

    21/03/2016 Duration: 38min

So many people throw that word around — "luck" — when discussing success in LA.  "I got lucky when I booked that job!" "I was in the right place at the right time, I just got lucky!" "You're moving to LA? I hope you get lucky. How else will you make it?" I simply don't agree with any of these statements, and as long as you're fed this information, you'll constantly feel defeated before you even begin. I don't want you to feel that way because your dreams ARE possible without being "lucky". Shownotes: laboundguide.com/podcast/44
