17/07/2016 Duration: 50minHave you heard of dutch daredevil "The Iceman", Wim Hof, yet? If not, you have a treat in store in this week's podcast. I first saw him speak in California last year. This guy is incredible. He holds 20 world records, including a world record for longest ice bath. He describes his ability to withstand extreme cold temperatures as being able to "turn his own thermostat up" by using his mind through yoga. He climbed to 6.7 kilometres (22,000 ft) altitude at Mount Everest wearing nothing but shorts and shoes. I know! And he completed a full marathon above the arctic circle in Finland, in temperatures close to −20 °C (−4 °F). Dressed in nothing but shorts, Hof finished in 5 hours and 25 minutes. Listen to today's podcast for the opportunity to reach out and do more than what you thought you were capable of. Through the right training and exercises, you can strengthen your inner nature and prevent diseas

Sorting out back pain and living healthily with chiropractor and podcast host Dr. Michelle Robin #71
10/07/2016 Duration: 37minPut the painkillers down, and listen to Zestology. Dr Michelle Robin is one of the world's top chiropractors and a relevant guest for me. In this podcast, we start off with some general chat - but if you want to get straight to the good stuff on backs, sleep position and so forth, feel free to skip straight to that bit. Back pain is something I have a specific interest in. That's because every once in a while, mine hurts. Once Dr. Michelle gets going, the unbelievable in-depth knowledge she has offers some practical solutions to anyone living in pain or wanting more energy. Dr Michelle Robin is a fascinating expert in this area. She is a 'wellness chiropractor'. She says wellness because she doesn't just want to make sure your spine is in alignment. She makes a lot of sense. Enjoy. As I say, we start on general stuff, and then go more in depth. You may find that bit more useful. Tony.

The two most important words in the world with entrepreneur and coach Laura Coe #70
03/07/2016 Duration: 38minUh, are the two most important words in the world? Laura Coe is an entrepreneur, podcast host, philosophy lover and certified life coach. She's a brilliant podcast guest, because she told me in simple terms how two little words could change our lives. She had a high-powered corporate career, and when I say high-powered, she was right at the top. But then something dramatic happened, and everything changed. Our topic this week - expressing what you really want in life, and then getting it. (There's a clue as to what those two words are in here.) When you speak your truth, personal freedom, a sense of internal calm, a confidence you always wanted, but couldn’t find, will start to appear. “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” – Oscar Wilde. Oh, and for those two little words, listen on...

Happiness
29/05/2016 Duration: 50minGretchen Rubin on experiments in the pursuit of happiness and good habits #65 "Don't let books become the spinach of your life" Just one of my favourite quotes from Gretchen Rubin in this week's Zestology podcast. By this she means don't only read worthy books/eat spinach because you feel obliged. Read and eat the good stuff. Gretchen is a big name and an awesome guest for Zestology podcast. And books were quite a theme in this interview. She's the author of several blockbuster New York Times bestsellers. She has an enormous readership, both in print and online, and her books have sold more than two million copies worldwide, in more than thirty languages. So I spoke to her on this podcast about upgrading some of our habits.
